Dr. Anastasia Olsen is originally from Glens Falls, New York and attended Cornell University for her undergraduate degree. She then attended St. George’s University for veterinary school and graduated summa cum laude in 2011.
Following veterinary school, she completed a small animal rotating internship at the Veterinary Medical Center of Long Island in West Islip, NY, a surgical internship at Dallas Veterinary Surgical Center in Dallas, TX, a surgical internship at the University of Missouri, and a canine sports medicine research internship at Colorado State University with emphasis on osteoarthritis and stem cell therapy in dogs. Dr. Olsen then pursued additional training at Purdue University and completed a three-year combined master of science and small animal residency program. She became board-certified through the American College of Veterinary Surgeons in 2021.
Dr. Olsen’s interests include both soft tissue and orthopedic surgery. She considers surgery a passion rather than a job and takes great joy in helping pets and serving the community.
Outside of work, Dr. Olsen enjoys spending time with her husband and 4 cats, traveling, collecting antique surgical equipment and other curiosities, and hiking throughout the Pacific Northwest.
